Thanks dude-Ginger is terrific. She's 12 years old, but you'd never know it.
By the way, I don't think that shoes are "personal" enough. Maybe some perfume would be a more "connected" gift for her birthday. You've got to be careful-people with birthdays around major holidays always get short-ended on one of the two events. If you care about her, give her well thought out gifts for both. They don't have to be expensive, just something on both holidays that show you put thought and effort into them.

Guys, here is our dog, Ginger. Some of you know that I got married last February. This is my wife's dog-Ginger is awesome to have around. Matt has met Ginger before.
