The 3G Ramblings & General Discussion Thread
Here too.
BTW isn't tx in a drought? I know we're in one just slightly though. Hate to say it, but hurricanes are what bring all the rain and water, but destruction.
But it will rain a lot during the summer. Just tropical storms/depressions benefit everyone water-wise around us. Carolinas, GA,AL, MS, and sometimes LA and TX if bands are thrown out that far.

Been in three hurricanes (Charlie, Francis, and Jeanne in 2004). Got hit with Charlie's eyewall as a Cat 2. Not fun during or after. Think mid-August in Orlando with no power. Bought a generator in time for Francis and Jeanne. Live and learn...

Yeah that gun thread moves slow but we have some knowledgable people that visit here and its all in the A-zine family.
I just sold my twin beretta 96g's a while back.
Working on getting pieces to build my next AR. And we just nailed with high winds, hail and tornado warnings in West Texas, Southeast New Mexico Monday. I would know I was standing outside during the whole storm.
Unfortunately my job requires not to be a pussy while watching lightning strike the ground within a couple hundred yards while outside on metal equipment working next to a drilling rig standing 100+ feet high lol.

It's funny when we were young learning calc and trig we always said "I'll never use this"
That turned out to be true for me but I swear some dumb mf'ers used that thinking in elementary but yet those same fuckers run companies.
Who the eff dosent know basic math, or runs a fuckin winery and dosent know gallon configurations? How do you make money retards!!!!

Yeah I was really gunning (pun intended) for a 6.8 SPC build but I have 20 - 30 round mags for my AR in 5.56 so I will be pursuing a .300 AAC Blackout round since I will only need the upper receiver and really only the barrel.
I just installed the front A-Spec under spoiler for my TL Type S, but I can't get the front spoiler to sit right on the bumper! The stickers that the spoiler attaches to the bumper don't stick very well and there is a gap between the bumper and the spoiler. How do I get that to sit right? I followed the directions on the PDR instructions, but it does not want to be flush.
^you peel off all the tape? clean the areas with alcohol before pressing the lip on?
since you already have it on...i would leave it. just get some emblem adhesive and something thin (like a Qtip) and apply the adhesive on the area that isn't flush...then press and hold until it bonds.
also you gotta keep in mind that everyones car is a little different. nothing will be perfect.

3M double sided body panel tape is the only way to go.
I would actually take all the OEM tape off and replace it with wider, better, 3M tape.
Goo Off will help but I have to admit that tape can be a PITA to get off 100%. But since it's new it may not be that bad.

sounds like a hell of a job. Also, I'd be in to see pics of this AR build, my brother just built one in a 6.8, probably my favorite assault rifle body.

haha
i see how it is...
