Holy fawk, I just read through that whole thread in the BM. Even with that Squid guy calling Ron A out numerous times and me personally wanting to see Ron A blast him, in the end it was probably better that he didn't. It shows more class, composure, an integrity for himself and respect for the site to not stoop to Squid's level.

^yup...i would never buy wheels from the black market without seeing them in person. too many variables. scuff marks, bends, cracks, fakes, etc.
it's not like you're buying a rear sway bar, $1000 is a lot to send to a stranger (squid...not an active member on this forum).

my thoughts exactly. Its an unfortunate situation for sure, but hopefully it gets worked out in his favor. Squid backtracked and sidestepped so many times in that thread that im pretty sure a new lawyer could prove thats he was well aware he was scamming EZ.

i'd just get the wheels refinished for a few hundred bucks whatever color you want and move on. lesson learned. don't use paypal as a gift when buying something from a stranger. that alone, is the only reason why squid might actually keep this money.

Wait what? Because I want to use this vast forum to sell some things I have sitting around that may be able to help others out? Because I am obviously going to be around for a while since I like this forum way more than any other forum I use? I understand it is a rule and I will abide by it I was just voicing my frustration. I understand you have to weed out the people who join for the sole purpose of selling things then leave after they are sold but it is a long time to wait if you stopped going to other forums and mainly use this one now (which is what I have done).
Whatever. I posted my BNIB xbox I won at Dave and Busters on ebay for 100 bucks less than retail since I am not allowed to help someone out here.
