I've been just under 140 on a public road. No need for that speed even though it's a thrill.
Does anyone know if it's possible to look up a celebrity's cars?
The reason I ask is because that lp670 that passed me the other day makes me think it might have been lance Armstrong because it had a cycling vanity plate and then I swear I saw him a few months ago on 35 in a white Bentley gt

Luckily I wasn't caught doing those speeds, but I have been caught and nearly arrested for doing 120+ in a 55 zone. The cop dropped it to a 90 in a 55, but I was driving with a suspended license (second time). I was very stupid and very lucky.

we have all done that....snapped a pic of the speedometer while i was doing 137 in my TL...back in STL on the highway....i didnt have the balls to be on the gas any longer....lucky that i wasnt caught....that would have been some stupid shit !!!
on a side note, GTR all day long !!!

The key thing is you didn't and you also didn't create a thread from it..

I have been to 125 in atlanta I85 and also to 140 a couple times in and around my area. Visibility for miles and no traffic.
I would have gone to 150 but I am still not satisfied with my alignment.

Yup...the road was VERY windy. And I think the max speed posted was 20km/h? I was going down the mountain at around 80-90km/h at places. And on turns, easily 60...
The Dunlops on the FX are quite good. Anyhow, I reached a turn that was pretty much a 180...and yeah, went in just a tad too fast.
My wife almost pissed her pants. Me...yeah, I was a bit worried when I hit the soil and grassy part. The car stopped in time.

73 in a 70 WTF?!?!?!
It was a Tx state trooper and he was in the fast lane fluctuating between 70-75 with a huge pack of pussies afraid to pass. So i said F it and figured id lead the way to the promise land. I do an easy 73 and pass him slowly but surely. he immediately whips behind me and follows me for a few miles and i maintained 73. longer story short he pulls me over and says he cant have me passing him while he is doing the speed limit or else everyone around thinks "why isnt he doing his job" i agree but say mostly thats when its frequent lane changers and speeders of 10+ over. he let me go with a warning and i informed him he had a sunflower seed on his face. We tongued and i left.

Of course, you shouldn't be speeding at all. We take those shenanigans to Mexico.

went to a civic SI meet.

I looked down and saw about 60-70mph.
slowed down for traffic, there was none in my lane...but cars in his lane.
I looked up in the rearview and saw flashing lights.
I pulled over.
the civic didnt.
I thought I was going to jail.
but was let off with a verbal warning only.
