I don't. If I sit at home for more then two days I start to lose my mind.

Although saving the wear and tear on the car and the gas money would be nice.

 

One of the best things about my job. I'm much more productive at home too (srs).

 

What line of work are you in? Do you isolate yourself from distractions throughout the day?

Id have a hard time getting off xbox or azine to actually get work done.


Well, I have a hard time getting off azine now....

 

I'm a mutual fund analyst. When I'm at home, I have the tv or some music on and I just do my thing. When I'm in the office, I get more distractions from the older folks that can't use any MS Office software without running into issues

I'm on azine whether I'm at home or at work lol. Once in a while, I'll get in a few rounds of MW3 on my lunch break though.

Been a few busy days. MCATs SUCKED, visiting home for a few days before back up to college. Making alfredo for the fam. Hows yalls?

Saucy, I'm a disc jockey at the Classic Rock Station here in Kansas City. It's call 101 The Fox. I've been on the radio for 35 years here in KC. So yea, I'm showing my age, and fucking damn proud of it too.

 

Well I lost a finger 2 years ago this October. Well most of a finger. It kinda grew back, except the nerves those are gone. I seen a guy get killed back in January 4 2008 will never forget that day. Another guy got his head ran over falling off a piece of equipment but that was 3rd party. Know people who have dislocated shoulers, break an arm, ankle and hand injuries.

You know, little stuff. It happens.

I actually believe him. I used to work in a retirement community that charged like $500 a day so you know the dining room was like 5 star food. The secret? I later found out when getting back the results of the head cook's random drug test? POT lol. When i was forced to confronthim on this his response was "how to you think my food comes out so well? I smokeup before i begin cooking and taste it as i go along perfecting it every step along the way" lmaooo. Keep in mind this was a grown man, professional, and making well over $125,000 a year hiding out in the fire exit with a cigar full of marijuana like a lil high school boy sneaking a cigg under the bleachers at school lol.

P.S.- his food was complimented so many times i got corp to give the Ok on keeping him on despite the positive test haha

 

Hell yeah, thats awesome. We got to see alot of local live music and the such while in Florida.

Don't take me too serious and anything I say. I actually have a couple Journey cd's. Seen the Styx live twice and once with REO Speedwagon so I am not hating.

Damn son! I work in a dangerous environment too (railroad), and a year ago one of my coworkers got coupled up between 2 railcars. I always take for granted how easy my job is, but shit can change in an instant. Rail equipment is not forgiving by any stretch of the word.

 

I noticed his absence over there as well. Hope everything is OK with him.
