Search the 3G Performance Parts & Mods section for some info on that. There are a couple threads that outline the parts needed, etc. It is NOT cheap though, especially if you're paying someone to do the work. Probably better off trading yours for a 6spd in that case.

sick, what happens if you tac weld the shield on , and they catch it on an inspection? Do you get fined or anything?

I've also noticed that while one person has 100%, another cannot. As much as I've been posting, it will not pass 99.9%.

idk... probably i would prefer not to find out but with the heat shields on, i dont think anyone would be the wiser

as far as your pc's, it sounds like your inspections can be a real pita. ask yourself if you want to deal with them failing you if they find them.
worst case ill just put the front one back on for inspection... idk. i want the extra power and want a little more exhaust sound, but dont know if i want to sweat every time i go to the inspection station.

I'm so glad we don't have to deal with that here, smog checks are bad enough.

thank god they dont do smog like they used to with the "sniffer" i would never pass... no as im sure youre aware, they just do the obdII plug in and as long as you dont have any lights, youre golden
