im thinking about cutting the heat shield bracket off the factory and have them spot welded to the pcd's so that it looks like a cat. VA does visual inspections.... sometimes

the PCD's already emit LESS heat. interesting to see what an added heatshield would do

 

I would do that if they do visuals. Safe yourself the fine.

i could care less about the heat, im just looking for them to do a quick glance at the engine and see the heat shield and assume that theres a cat there still. last thing i want them doing it taking too close a look at them and get some kind of fine

You have PCDs and 3rd cat removed in a state that does visuals.

 

You should have just cored out the primaries..

 

they do visuals sometimes... all i do is just play dumb and tell them it was like that when i bought it

i do?? pcd's remove cats at engine, rv6 v3 jpipe removes 3rd cat, all i have left are mufflers and a resonator as far as i know..
