Been super busy with 4-5 hours of sleep each night for the past 2 weeks.

We got the keys to our house Tuesday night and it's been a non stop clean/paint a thon up in that bitch ever since. Should be done Sunday and all moved in

Bad news yesterday at the doctors, MRI showed herniated disc I got while deadlifting is getting worse. Nothing active for 9 months.

 

I seem to have killed my PC. It has a blinking green light on the back near the plug, and wont turn on.

My wifi router konked out on me also. It looks like I'm going old school on my laptop for a while.

idk... im looking at the one on the back of my work computer now ... its flashes occasionally, and is solid most of the time.. sorry i just saw it flashing when i looked the first time. power supply bad i guess

 

yeah, I think you're right. The power supply unit is bad. Just gotta find a new one and get it replaced, and hope the HD or motherboard isn't toast also.

 

 

I unplugged everything to take it outside and blow all the dust off, when I was putting the plug back into it , it had an electrical surge or spark or something that effed it up.

 

Laptop or desktop? If desktop.. get a higher rated PS with better cooling efficiency. If laptop..

no, probably not going to get one til payday. Plus there is a couple of people I know that I need to ask if they can R & R it for me.

 

after doing some research on youtube (gawd some of those videos were painful to watch), it seems like this is pretty easy to replace. I might give it a go myself once I get a new one.

the hardest part looks like making sure everything you unplug gets plugged back correctly.

 

It's easy as taking a shit in the morning. You unplug the old one, remove any securing hardware. Place the new one in.. it will have all new cables with enough to run your board and several peripherals. Doooo eeeeettttt.... I replaced mine just a few months ago. It's not uncommon for it to fail after so many hours use.

 

Especially when you have it plugged into that electrical death network of yours..
