Thanks. I want to do a bigger layout, but with two young kids and hardly any room, I can't.

Buy a small house and knock out the inner walls! Leave the supports standing and you'll have one big layout!

Well, once my wife starts working as a nurse practitioner in about a year we're going to start looking at plans to build a bonus room above our garage. Since we're in Florida we have to build up, not down. I'll have a bigger train room and man cave, but it will cost us I'm guessing maybe $67K.

Don't waste your money. Have you looked at how much weight you're saving? It's not significant.

It was more significant for my Accord, something like 13 pounds. I calculated the ROI, and I met the ROI timeframe. It's probably different for the TL. Is it really only THAT less of a weight difference?

That too, but I'm at the age that the CF look is a bit childish. I painted my Accord's CF hood.

+ lw battery, remove spare, etc..

Even rotors. Change out the fronts and solid one piece rears.

Probably suspension. If you guys see a decent price (~$500) on an A-Spec suspension for an auto, let me know.

No way in hell would I remove the spare. The consequences of a flat tire are too great.

Carry an air-compressor and some slime. If you regularly maintain the spec tire pressure, you probably won't ever need a spare.

what happens if catastrophic tire failure, and 200 miles away from town, and his two babies are on board?
