To 3G forum members... What do you think?

The new sticky thread will have some simple guideline for those newbies and I'll put those redundant FAQs all together. Meanwhile, I'll collect the useful threads for everyone, too.

What do you think? I'd really appreciate all your input...

(Ron A & rvmeush have helped me start this embryonic form, "Garage", thanks a lot.)

I think it's a good idea and it would probably be more useful if it remained a sticky right here in the 3 Gen forum and keep it at the top.

If only we could get the noobs to actually read the damn thing first. That's the battle.

In the beginning, I've tried to put everything I know all together... hard, very hard...

How's about we start everything from the beginning?

I know this will help. I just did a search on how to read a VIN last night. Thanks for the sticky and your continuing quest for improvement.

I like the mention of the 2005 TL at the top, in big, colored letters. No one's gonna miss that!!!!!

You may want to rename the sticky thread "common issues", or even "TL garage" (in the spirit of the post above mine), much like the forum of the same name, so that it's clearer what the sticky is for.

This is a great idea. Thanks for offering to collect the links and centralize their location. I think this will really help old and new members alike.

I think that post will be a huge success. It is well organized and I hope that the newbies go there before posting the exact same question 100 times. Maybe include something about using the search feature also on the first page - I see it on the second page but perhaps it would be better to have it on the opening page. This is definately a nice post and I think all the members appreciate the time it took to setup and put together. Nice job guys!

rets,

A long due excellent idea!!! It'll even help those of us who need a "refresher" every now and then. Keep up the good work.

Excellent idea, rets! Good work.

I'm sure there will still be a few noob's who proudly announce how they are "too lazy" to do a search and can someone please tell them what new features will be on the '05 TL. I think some people don't even read one single thread before posting the same tired old questions.

For the rest, this is great stuff. Thanks.

Thanks for the replies...

Guys, why took so long to make a simple reply?

If possible, I'll try to add more into the list from now on, and redesign the structure/layout in July. I have to say sorry if I do miss any your favorite topics/threads/issues...

I welcome everyone's input. Thanks.

Update...

Projects and Plans:

July: to categorize all info/links into proper and specific sub-groups.
August: to filter/re-organize informative posts out of those links.

Great idea!

Maybe think about pricing threads for the major metropolitan areas? (I started one for SoCal that got 100 responses.) Otherwise it seems there is a new pricing thread every day.

Thanks the assist out of Ron A. We have re-arranged 3G Garage and made some adjustment.

Although I stated "newbies or return members...", lots of info are useful and good for those veterans, too... such as some DIY threads or V1 installation, etc.

If you feel it's necessary to list any extra info or collections you like to know or it may benefit the future newcomers, please reply here... :ultraghey:

Or, you like to flame me, please write here, too...

Your input could make this forum better. Thank you.

Rets, how about a listing of dealers nationwide (If feasible)? I know this is asked often ... Here's a link for starters.... Acura Dealers. I haven't found a good link for our Canadian members.

www.acura.com has its own dealers info, too.

Admins would work out AZ database for this matter soon.

Exclamation Update...

This is the Acura Dealers List. Admins are going to expand on this even further later, adding dealer comments, ratings, etc since it's now all in a nice clean database.
