I rock my 30k bulbs all day long. Literally...I can only use them during the day.

Lol 30000k...anything above 10000k is usually up to the seller...they can call it what they like, they're all trash. For optimum visibility at night in the rain, OEM 4300k is the best. 5000k is pure white, and 6000k (cool white) is the highest color temp you should go if you want to make the most of our still-awesome projectors...there's a reason why people use the TL projectors for their retrofits.

Anything above 6000k and you're getting into the useless low-output/high-color range, with 8000k really being the beginning of that range...but hey, I prefer function over form for my bulbs...just my $0.02

You just go and bend the shield in the projector itself to tune the cutoff

That sounds like it can potentially look very bad.
I am really considering to get the zkw-r lens instead of my stock ones.
Do you think there is anything I can do about my high beams reflectors to make them look on par with the projector lens right next to it??

Because it looks really old.

That's just because you're not fully understanding what's involved in retrofits

ZkW-r is definitely a nice upgrade from stock. The 'high beam' reflectors isn't really a high beam.. it's a fog light for older (04-06) TL's and DRL for the new years. You can always get a Type S headlight and call it a day I've got a set I'd be happy to sell you. You'll need new ballast/igniters since the newer headlight uses the slimmer ballast though but it's much sexier than that crappy old-looking headlight

I can't believe anyone cares more about what color their lights are than how well they can see at night.

Poverty beams (i.e. eBay "HIDs") are what people put in 20 year old Civics to make it look like they have good headlights. What's the point of buying a car that already has good headlights and downgrading to worse ones?

Ahh, the good ole days of Azine. I remember this thread, OP and retartedoranges. Unfortunately, lack of common sense, thin skin and not having an opinion, is the new normal now. I wonder if OP likes his 30K pink lighting. Thanks to the guy who bumped this thread.

A tiger can't change it's stripes, a ricer will always be a ricer even after he gets rid of his civic.
