3 Months free XM
Dealer told me first 3 months of XM were free. When I registered it was not apparent the bill would not come for 90 days. Did I miss something?

When you call XM to turn on the service, they should have identified the ID as being registered to Honda, NA.
I actually had to mention that the service was supposed to be free for 90 days as a manufacturer promotion before it jogged the synapses of the XM customer service rep.
A 2nd phone call might be worthwhile, if for no other reason than peace of mind.

I tried to register online, but couldn't make it. Then I called to XM, and received 108 days free usage starting from October, after telling them my XM radio # of Acura vehicle.

xm
My dealer told me they tried to call (xmas eve) and xm was closed. I've had xm in my prev. car for close to a year and there is NO alternative to the music quality and selection.
The second I left the dealership I called XM myself (xmas eve). They WERE open and I proceeded to spend 25 minutes setting up my FREE 90 days and my acct. to be billed monthly after the first free 90 days. It is available it just seems the dealers have better things to do than waste 25 minutes on THEIR phones.

My XM was activated when I picked up the car. I just bought a Delphi Roady XM receiver and put it in my MDX. I activated it over the internet and it works great. I guess I will activate the TL subscription in March the same way. I've e-mailed XM Radio to ask if I will then be eligible for their family billing plan (2-5 XM radios cost about $3 less each month). Coincidentally, the Roady subscription needs to be renewed in March also. I will look at a quarterly renewal thereafter, but I am tempted to do the multiyear billing which is less expensive.

I was already an XM customer so after I took delivery of the car, I called customer service to change radio ID numbers, and I haven't been charged. In fact, I had to call to renew today as my 3 months are up in a couple of days.
