2nd Gen CL headrests??
#2
Can't help you with the answer, but isn't it funny how much the headrest can change comfortability in a car. I love love love the TL headrest. It's adjustable front/back and up/down. I also think it is decently plushy and I like that.
The bimmer headrests suck. My e46 still has some plush surprisingly, but not great adjustability. And the. The e92 is the worst. Only goes up and down and it is hard as rock.

I wish I had tried, I went from a 2001 CL-S to my 2008 TL-S... I really don't like the TypeS headrest because the extra badge in there is really hard and is right where my head sits.
I've been considering getting a base TL headrest from a junkyard but now the wife drives the TL as a daily and she doesn't complain.

Gonna need a thicker skin around these here parts, that was just some solid forum advice. No infraction yellow card ejection!
I have to say though, I would be shocked if Honda varied the width on similar age range models.
I bet they fit. Why don't you flag the next 2G you see down and ask them very awkwardly if you can test fit?
I did that with my 3G...I noticed a weird transition on my bumper...asked some neighbor I don't know if I could see his car trunk open.
Turns out it was normal!

Why not?
I'd just carry the pass headrest around.. bc fuck their cervical spines.. and test fit where you get it.
Check the lemon lots.

Then just buy one and test fit it, return it if it doesn't fit.
A little common sense will take you a long way in this world.

I would ask, odd, but most people would probably be like "okay" after the initial "what do you want from me, weirdo" lol.
...or go on ebay and search for an online junker that has seats for sale or headrests and ask them to measure how thick and long they are to see if it'll fit in your holes.

just break into the nearest CL you see and test fit it. If it fits, then just trade-sies with him.

Maybe try crossposting to 2G CL. Many people there have 2G CLs and might be able to help out.
