Did you really pay $130 for A1 service? To my knowledge, A1's are only an oil change/tire rotation. The dealership that I go to charges $34.95 for it. I didn't feel like waiting all day for an oil change, so I just got my service done last week @ 18.6K mi., at a regular car maintenance center. They changed the oil (5w-20)/filter, and rotated the tires for $26. Afterwards, I personally reset the maintenance minder on the MID.
So I think you'll be fine.

According to "The Book":
A = Change Engine Oil
1 = Rotate Tires.
That's it. Although most of use will also change the filter and have other fluid levels checked (gratis).
Further Maint is NOT mileage based, except for a few exceptions. IOW - Just follow the MID.
"The Book" also says:
Remember, it's YOUR car. YOU tell the service center (dealer, indy, whatever) the work YOU want done.

Your authorized dealer knows your vehicle best and can provide competent, efficient service. However, service at a dealer is not mandatory to keep your warranties in effect. Maintenance may be done by any qualified service facility or person who is skilled in this type of automotive service. Keep all receipts as proof of completion, and have the person who does the work fill out the maintenance record.
