2008 WDP TL-S - Buy? No Buy?

Hey guys,

Still searching for that perfect TL-S in the Los Angeles area.

While shopping I notice prices are so freaking high compared to the prices some of the forum member on here get their TL-S for.

I am currently looking at a 2008 WDP TL-S. It has 30,000 miles and is NOT a CPO. Car is really clean minus the normal wear and tear stuff. The dealer listed the car at $32,000, which is unbelievable. I got him down to $30,000 OTD. I was actually willing to go as high as $28,000 Out the door considering it isn't a CPO and it isn't an Acura dealership.

I still think this is way to high. Does anyone agree?

Looking at the CPO pricing in the LA area, all the 2007 TL-S are listed between $26/29000 and that is high, but might just be the area. If you like the car, offer them what you want to pay and if they take it fine, if not, walk away.

One other item to keep in mind is that Acura is offereing 1.9% financing if credit score is high, but they don't specify the criteria needed.

Wow u guys got cheap car prices down in the states. I bought my KBP 08 TL-S two weeks ago for $34000 cdn after taxes with 54k and that's including the trade in of $4000 for my 99 TL. If I didn't have a trade in the car woulda been $34 plus taxes which comes out to about $38. The only good thing about it was that it was in spotless condition with a a-spec kit and tints which was exactly what I was looking for.

This has to do with the Canadian exhange rate.

Update!!!!!

Got this Guy down to $29otd. Car is good. Test drove and checked the paint, everything looks good. Still has the new car smell. Told him I was gonna sleep on it.

Any thoughts? I know I'm getting it under kbb price.

After some negotiation I'm looking at 415/ month for $29,000 out the door. I almost took the deal.

Any thoughts?

make them throw in an a-spec lip kit with it and its a done deal!!! haha i doubt they'd do that

go for it if that's the lowest price you can get and if theres nobody else selling a wdp tl-s in your area for anything close to it. luckily i found my tl-s for 28.5 after i left the dealership selling an 07 tl-s with 10K+ miles for 30.5 OTD that i was about to purchase (:

If you can afford the car and are not streching your budget, go for it. A car is a very poor investment and in a few years you'll see it drop $10K, so just keep that in mind, and $415 a month for.............plus other expenses.

Stevie, for an '08 with 30,000 miles on it-that still seem too high. I bought my '07 with 600 miles on it for $32,000. Now the car you're looking at is 2 years old (almost 3 years old) with 2 years worth of mileage on it. Get the guy to go lower.

I think 29K OTD is still high and 400 a month for a car payment over 70 months is insane. Unless your making +$100,000 a year, that car will only get you in trouble. I prefere the rule if you cant pay it off in 4-years, you can't afford it. Just my 2-cents.

Thanks for the input guys. I actually decide to throw 28K OTD at them. If they accept, I'll be a new TL-S owner, if not then I keep looking.

I am actually looking at a NBP with a black interior. I don't really like the interior from the pictures. Does it look better in person?
