The seats on my 08 TLs have started showing some wear

What have other folks done for something like this? Is this fixable or does this need new seat covers?

Ideally I want to see if I can just fix them.

Is there a way to fix them? any kits that can be bought to spot fix for now? Don’t want to spend hundreds at the moment on the seats…

im assuming reupholster means change it completely…

The fix is to reupholster them or just throw some packing tape on them if you're okay living with that

a leather repair shop can try to put some backing on the leather to keep it from splitting, but that would be a lot of work for little result as it'll keep tearing at the next weak spot. The issue is that the leather creases between the holes and becomes weaker over time
