Hey was Up i would like to know where to start to install a 2007 front lip on my 2004 base..the reason i wanna do this cuz of the headlights that come in the bottom..can someone pls help me

 

First of all which lip are you wanting?

you can install the FOG lights on your 2004 base w/o a lip. You'd just use the 03-05 Honda Accord Fogs.

Unless you are talking about the Acura OEM Fog lights that only come on the 07-08 TL's. In order for you to put that on your 04 you need the 07-08 Front Bumper Base or Type S.

I just did this conversion on my 06 Base. GL!

Do some research on this site before you spend money. All the info is here.

There is a huge difference between adding fog lights, adding front lips, and converting the nose end to 07-08.

The 07-08 Base lip does not fit the 04-06 bumper. You have to convert the whole nose end, or modify the lip by trimming it, smoothing with filler glaze, priming, and re-painting.

Converting the nose is about 800-1200, which includes paintwork & OEM parts. New OEM bumpers do not come painted. The 07-08 lips only come in 07-08 colors, some 04-06 models would require the lip to be repainted, like AM for example. The OEM fog housing are not cheap, you could save a little by going with aftermarket depo which look just like OEM. All the 07-08 grille parts need to be purchased too.

It's actually a part of the bumper, lower fogs came only in the 2007-2008 models. 2004-2006 TLs have upper fogs.. but if you want to go for the lower fogs I suggest you do the accord fog light mod. It's much cheaper and it looks pretty good. I believe you can also fit the A-Spec lip on it with the fogs on.

I got in an accident about a week ago and my entire front end got ripped off my car. Im in the process of converting mine at the moment while its getting repaired. powerflow is right, you would need to get the an entire new front end ( bumper,grille, fog lamp assembly, wire harnes emblem.. the list goes on). OEM fogs lamps will run you about $530. I went ahead with depo which is 1/2 the price ($237 on ebay) Front end alone cost about $900(unpainted)

I was planning the exact same thing as you when I first got my TL, but instead of just posting without doing any research I searched this site and found all kinds of info and how to's on the foglight mod. Go to the garage and look for accord foglight mod or something. Its not hard
