2007 TL Fog Light Bulb

I am looking to replace the fog light bulbs in my 2007 Base with Navi TL. I would like to get a blue bulb and was wondering if anyone had any opinions on brand, type, or style. Based on my research H8 is the correct bulb and I have came across OPT7 in the link below and think this looks pretty solid. If anyone has any information I would really appreciate it!

I use Nokya Yellow fog light bulbs. I like the yellow fog light look.

Cheap DC kit. Short life of bulb & ballast, not very bright, takes a while to warm up.

You do get what you pay for, obviously.

I had a cheap HID kit before and it look like shit, 5k bulb luminate like a 10k bulb, I switch over to Morimoto 3five XB35 kit and the result is what I expected from mid to high end aftermarket HID.

I mount of of my under the air resonator box and the other mount on the windshield fluid tank. BTW you will need to buy the extended wire if you use the relay came with that kit.

For HID fog lights, no need to over spend. Can get the ddm tuning hid kit then an eBay harness for a total of 50$ and make them independent.. yah people are gunna hate, saying its a cheap kit, well I've installed over 5 pairs in headlights and fogs over time without ever having an issue. Just installed a kit in my 4runner yesterday that came with OEM halogen projectors already in the headlights.

I run cree LEDs. I sell them for $60 a pair below, check out the link (endLessrpm.com)

Cree leds don't take time to heat up, no ballasts needed, plug and play and last a long time. oH, leds don't glare like HIDs do..

No relay harness needed either? I'm running LED for my DRL and needed a harness
(at least I think it was called a relay harness. It's early and I just woke up...)

Hi Endless,

What's the difference between your LED bulbs and the 80w (or 60w) led CREE on ebay?

I always though any exterior LEDs needed some type of harness. Guess I know my next mod for my car.

Reason for my confusion was that LEDs for our DRL also claimed to be "plug n play" LEDs. However they had to be plugged into a harness first lol

I beg of anyone doing this mod to stay as far as humanly possible from the electrical nightmare one will incur through a DDM ballast.

What did it do to your car? My mom's 07 accord has a ddm kit. Friends 06 Chrysler 300 does too.

There are many people that use the ddm kit without a problem

well older DDM kit is solid but the recent one is pretty garbage. I refer my co-worker bought two kit for his subi back in 2012 and within a month one ballast blew and another month the other ballast follow, I felt ashame because I had three kits total with DDM and yet 0 issue however my kit was ordered back when average HID kit cost $150.
