Who would win the race between these two cars Acura Tl 2007 Base or Lexus IS300(MT). My Homie just bought one and yea you know the rest. You guys are so knowledgable i want to know what car is faster 0-60 and top end speed comparison.

Since the IS300 is MT, it should get you off the line .. but once the TL picks up some momentum in 1st / 2nd .. it should roll right by. TL will win at any roll speed.

Honestly, the IS300 is not much of a performance car in stock trim where any level of TL (TL, TL-S, 5AT, 6MT) will take it down in short order. Simply not a contest.

However, it's when you work that 2JZ into the world of forced induction that the IS driver will pay no mind to Acura TLs, G35/37s or most other Asian performance machines short of the GT-R.

MOD is right. We helped a friend built one in his garage and if my memory serves me correct with the PSI. It was running on conservative setup at 12psi, produced 387rwhp with bump gas on Mustang Dyno.

He once toyed a Z06, but I wasn't sure what his PSI was.

Here's the exact photo of the engine we built. Mind you that he was aiming for the stock look.

You didn't say yours is auto or manual. Huge difference.

And IS300 MT may have better top end pulls. It should easily beat the TL Auto. Probably not on the TL 6MT.
