2007 TL 196K Your thoughts

Located a 2007 TL Base with 196K miles. Carfax shows ALL maintenance done on a timely basis, at Acura dealer. Color is Alabaster Silver/Ebony trim. One owner, no accident history. Transmission replaced by Acura Dealer at 152K, Timing belt service performed by Acura dealer at 188K Overall, car is extremely clean inside and out, and in my opinion, could pass for a 50K mile car, condition wise. Asking price, $3,300.00. No record of engine or trans mount replacement, oil pump reseal, or suspension work! I think this car represents a great value, at the sale price. Aside from suspension issues, etc. Anything else I should be concerned about. Any comments would be much appreciated.

What condition is the dash material above the passenger side airbag and what condition is the seat leather? Regardless, sounds like a good deal.

I would assume they are expecting to get closer to $2500 than $3300. Pull the trigger

assuming the interior is "50K nice" and all the mechanicals are good, especially if it came with working Navi...
I'd change the trans fluid, regardless (with 44K on it?) and prolly the plugs, cabin filter. Usual.
Complain about the brakes and tires and get a few hundred off...

with $3k TL you can't ask much, but to me it worth it, especially if you DIY most of the stuff. Once you bringing some life back to the TL it easily could get sold for $5k.

No sign of cracks in dash, seats are in remarkable shape.

I'm thinking $3300 is spot on. I checked AuroTrader for similar 07 Tl models, showing between 150-200K, they list ten within 300 miles of me. The average list price of the 10 is $6921. I think they are CRAZY! Many of the cars listed, show several owners, accident damage, structural damage, and no service history. $3370 is NADA clean trade in price, which I think is an excellent price for an EXTRA clean 07 TL with a recent timing belt service, as well as a Acura Dealer installed replacement transmission at 156K. .
