I know this has probably been discussed but I can not find a clear answer...is it possible to swap out the 2004 TL radio (non-navi) for the 2007 (non-navi)?

i have brought up an issue similiar to this. i had a courtesy car last month and it was a 07 tl and i could hear the biggest different from my 04 and the 07. But it should not be that big of a difference...do you think the 04 radio is that big of a difference? but my bottom line is my speaker back speaker or subwoofer has a crazy ass outbursts at some points in a song and i'm not sure if it's blown or what. i've taken it in twice and they've said its not blown and they've done several sound test... they're not fixing my problem!!!!
