If anyone wants me to take any exact measurements of different parts of the 07 grille let me know. I'm pretty good with a tape measure, and not 1/2 bad with a bowstaff.

That's kind of what I thought.

My definition of "fit" does not include anything that has to do with modifying, so that's why I was saying that it wouldn't fit.

I would love to see this work, though, so if someone can fit (keeping my definition of "fit" in mind) an '07 chrome wing on an '06 grill, I'll be a very happy guy.

This, to me, means it will not "fit" according to a standard definition. Quoting Dictionary.com:

I'm anxiouly awaiting the side-by-side comparison pictures, with measurements if possible.

This is the place that I am concerned with - will the TLS wing and the TL wing have the same end - right where these circles are. Not so concerned about attaching to the grill as I already know I have to cut that in half.

Now....even though you set the chrome piece up against the bumper, it has been said by other professionals that the piece will not fit. Did you actually try to fit it on there?

Thanks for the pics.

it does fit. but you will have to modify how it screws in.. look at this pic, you can see the holes are different.

^ I see. That's a perfect picture right there. Does it rest evenly on the bumper like the original 2006 piece?

SteveP66, did you see this link? https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=154841

Rondog says the fitment is a no-go... not sure whose word you're going to take, but at least now we have multiple input.

Yeah I've been watching that thread too - since I am going to be using the 07 TLS grill - modified to fit I'm not 100% sold yet that the wing won't fit.

This is the area I am mostly concerned with.........

In looking at the pics of the two wings here I can see the TLS one is a bit larger so I'm not quite sure yet if what I'd like to do will work.

I'll know more when I get it all pulled apart.......or get to the dealer to compare them both side by side.......

Hybrid - since you have both can you tell if the 07TLS wing will fit on the 06 in the red circle area in the above pic? This is the area that I think will give me an issue since the end of the 07TLS wing might be bigger..........I'm not worried about the fitment to the grill since I know I have to modify that a bit to fit.

Forgive my really bad PS skills ------ but see the piece with the aqua line on it? Is this a seperate trim piece from the actual grill?

I think it is and if that's the case the TLS wing would need to fit where the red arrows are..........not worried about the grill cuz that is behind this piece in aqua....

Sorry - trying my best to explain but it ain't easy....lol

It really is NOT very difficult to do the fog loight install like I did. The toughest part for me was modding the switch.

The factory VSA switch is angled to fit the contour of the dash. The Honda fog light switch that comes with the kit is not contoured. If you are OK with that, then you can even just use the switch as it comes.

So, did you modify your TL grill in order to get the accord fogs in?

I had to use a dremel to trim each of the lower grills to match the contours of the edge of the fog lights.

Here is a pic of a 07-08 nose conversion on my 2005. Took me a whole weekend to do, but I did all the work myself including the paint. I had to let the parts sit for awhile before I could handle, and also did the rear and some other work too.
