Smile Dilema!!!!

I am looking to buy a car for my girlfriend and since i have an '07 TL i want to go with Acura. There are 3 choices:
2003 Acura CL-S - 110K - $6.500 - has the Maintenance reminder on.....how much 4 service?
2003 Acura RSX - 100K same price...car looks very good and clean
2003 MINI Cooper - 85K - $7000 car looks very good!

What i think is this. I heard that the 6 cilinders acura have had a lot of problems with the transmision until 2004. I had a 2001 VOLVO S80 and I promised myself that i will never buy a european car in my life...so i don't know about the MINI.
The RSX is blunt. Not too many options.
Anyhow all 3 cars look and drive very good....we are very undecided!!!
Please help.
Thank you

I'm going to have to pick the CL, just for the sexiness factor alone. I'm guessing a major service is due. Perhaps you can use that as a bargaining chip in your price negotiations. Basically get them to pay for the service by dropping the price of the car to accommodate that.

The CL-S with a MANUAL transmission is a great idea; the auto transmission in the 1999-2003 V6 class transmission that is best avoided-- just check out the CL and 2G TL forums here on AZ. If the 105K service (A3 or A4 on the maintenance minder; don't recall which) hasn't been done yet, it's about $1,000 or so for the timing belt/water pump, etc. change at an independent mechanic, up to $1,700 at a dealership.
The RSX is also due for a 105K service, but is probably going to be the most reliable of the three by history. The RSX is not as refined as the CL-S.
The 2003 Mini had issues with the manual transmission; I think its reliability history is spotty.

I'd probably get the CL-S if it were a manual transmission, then the RSX otherwise.

I guess CL, but it would be cool if she had an M license, then you could just get her a bike. Maybe a ninja?

The MINI wouldnt be a bad choice. If it is a Cooper it gets real good gas milage if its an S its so-so on gas but one fun car to drive. I had an 06 S before my TL-S and I do miss it but I needed a bigger car. Checkout North American Mini forums, its got good info. Im partial to the MINI by the way, we've had 2.
