2007-08 Front bumper

I have a 2006 NBP TL, and want to buy a 2007-08 type s front bumper, since my stock bumper has some damage from a previous collision. damage is only paint and a small dent..

I have tried to search this topic but i did not find straight answers or all the answers to my questions. so please bare with me.

First question: Will the 2007-08 type s front bumper be a direct fit on my 2006 base tl? if not how much work is needed to make it fit? Labor cost?

second question: where can i buy the bumper from? i looked at a couple websites and none have it.. any good deals out there?

Third question: What other accessories will i need if do buy a new 07-08 type s front bumper?

In the end how much would this cost, including labor?

your help is greatly appreciated!! thank you.

Yes, the 07-08 bumper is a direct fit.

You can buy it from several dealer websites such as Prestige Acura, they are a vendor on Acurazine and will give you a good deal. You can also contact your local dealer. The bumper costs about $250 and will come unpainted, and will cost about another $300 to have painted NBP.

You will also need to buy new grill pieces/trim, upper and lower. This includes the fog light assembly and fog lights themselves, plus wiring.

Total cost for the conversion is going to be over $1000, labor not included.

No it wont look out of place but it will be different. You have to remember now your gonna have the updated front bumper but the older 04-06 everything else like wheels, taillights, mirrors etc etc. not a bad thing but this conversion can lead to a lot of other conversions lol.

I just muffed up my bumper the other day pulling out of my garage. I am thinking this is a great opportunity to switch my front bumper to type-s. I've got a 07, a 07-08 type s bumper will fit just fine correct

is this a 07 type s bumper on a 06? cause it doesnt look anything like a type s bumper. how in the world did it cost you 2k for that? my dealer said i could have the whole thing done under 1k without the fogs.

Yours will work. The only difference is the type-s trim pieces look slightly darker than the base trim.
