Exclamation 2006 TL w/navi VS. 2006 Lexus IS350

So I own a 2005 TL w/navi and am looking to start doing mods in the performance department of the car. Of course I have the friend that owns a Lexus and is claiming that the Lexus IS 350 is a overall better performing car. Im a technology kind of guy and love the TL for that. We all know that the TL gives you more for your money. So why does a guy swich to a Toyota or stay with the blood lines of a HONDA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HELP

For me it was all about the 6spd. Lexus doesn't offer that for the IS350.. If I wanted a luxury automatic I'd get the GS430. Plus its nice not having just a stock car after the mods.

If it weren't for the lack of a manual and the ridiculously small back seat I probably would have already bought an IS350. The car is rear wheel drive and has 306 HP, it will outperform almost any TL.

IS 350> TL in terms of performance
It is rediculously expensive (close to 40k loaded) though and has no back seat. The lack of a manual also sucks, but that should be remedied soon hopefully.

Also Lexus has some of the best service departments in the business.

I agree with the above. If I trade my Type S in, I'm going to get a stick or I'm not doing it at all. Also, I looked at an IS350. Great looking car but TOO SMALL.

I don't really care too much about performance since I got a F-body in my garage that puts over 500 hp to the wheels and 750 on nitrous. Puts most of you ricers to shame. But I do prefer the jap cars for daily driving.

My daily driver I want to look great, drive great, and be reliable!!
