2005 TL Rear Deck rattle with bass
Hi all....I read some older threads about rear deck rattling and buzzing on some CD's with a lot of bass frequencies. I would like to know what people have done to solve this problem. Has anyone had luck with having a dealer rectify this ? Any information you could give me would be very much appreciated.

The first one is my detailed (pics and explanations) of how I fixed one major rattle that was caused by the rear middle seat belt tensioner. There are four or five spots in the rear deck alone that may cause buzzing/rattling, this is just one of the major ones.

Peter....thank you much.....but as I just purchased this car a few months ago and am hardly mechanically inclined, there is no way I can complete that work myself. Is that something the dealer can deal with ? Has anyone tried Dynamatting the rear deck ?

Then there's one near the buckle for the rear passenger-side seat belt. Total of 5 if you include the ones underneath your headrests.

Also take a look at TSB 04-043. Request that your dealer perform that fix for you.

I brought mine to the dealer with that TSB and they fixed it. I haven't heard it yet......Now if I could just get the center channel and console to quit.....
