91 is it what is recommended, but they run fine on 87, the engine adjusts and it makes less horsepower.

Not all areas even have 93 octane widely available (here in Kansas City I've never seen it).

Not all states has 93, so 91 is min. to get best performance.

so i'm not doing damage if i decide to be cheap and put 87 or 89 in it? might as well save a few bucks for a day if it doesnt hurt it.

it's their fault for giving me a TL with 1/4 tank in it!

in dirty jerz, most places have 93 instead of 91, but sunoco usually has the 91.

with my TSX, the 93 gets slightly worse gas mileage than the 91, so when it says that 91 is the preferred gas, they mean it both ways!
