2005 TL on acura.com - CHECK THIS OUT!!!

Go to acura.com and click on the 2005 TL. Click on the interative showroom, then interior showroom. When the interior showroom loads, click on the magnifing glass. This will bring you to a moveable interactive session (Quicktime Viewer). Zoom all the way out and pan to the right and look at the passenger seat. That's right kids, clearly 2 sections on the front seats, not 3. This is supposed to be a 2005, right? This must have been a last minute change by Acura, but thought it was an interesting discovery none-the-less....

for such minor changes to the interior, I doubt they even changed it from last year because that view is to get a sense of the inteior, Not to have an EXACT picture. Its so you can see a general layout of button position, some features(nav) etc. Most people would go to the dealership to see what the interior actually looked it.

They just didn't update the site. They haven't updated the brochure either. Maybe they don't want to draw attention to the issue.

They most likely left it that way on purpose knowing that there are many 04 owners upset about the front seat leather issue.

Most people would never notice, nor care if they did, such a thing.

Building that interactive presentation takes alot of time and money... it would be silly for them to rebuild it completely over something so non-important.

The vast majority of buyers will NEVER pickup on that nor would they even deem it to be of the slightest importance.

Unless, of course, they have huge butt-prints on their seat.

Yes, I noticed this too a week ago. I just figured a few stitches wasn't worth the work of fixing the presentation. Paying for that crap gets added to our MSRPs you know.
