The 2005 Model Year

Does anyone know when the 2005 TL model year will be available?

Thanks.

I expect that you are right as I cannot see them introducing it any sooner, as the 2004 and 2005 models should be identical. The exception was for the 2002 model TL was in troduced in March 2001, as a slightly changed model, (ie- new features, slightly different lights), but I think that was to boost sales. Sept. and Oct. are historically when Honda introduces new models.

I would say more likely late October-November.
That's typical of Honda when they aren't introducing a redesigned model.

Does HOnda change little things like headlights shape or tailights on 2nd yr model. I hope not becaUSE IT WOULD SUCK if they redesign the headlights to look more attractive than the current TL.

The current TL looks amazing. I've seen a couple roll by me at slow speeds (5-10mph) and it looks even more awesome when they are on the highway. I saw an abyss blue pearl one on the way to school and my jaw just dropped at the site of it. I'm not sure what they could do on the 2005 model though...any thoughts?

I think they would do the following:
* Keep headlight/taillight configuration the same.
* more color options...different shades.

They probably won't change the fascia until 2006/7 I imagine.

Thats because the look of the coupe was perfect. All they did was flip the colours of the tailights, yet the 2002 and 2003 looks better.

Is all wheel drive in the picture for the 2005 TL? Many reviews have been critical of 270 horsepower driving the front wheels and are suggesting an all wheel drive configuration. Both BMW and Infinity offer it will Acura join the party??

was well as different front bumpers for both coupe and sedan... I dont know if the side skirts are a little different too... The stereo was also different. As far was the TL changing, I havent really noticed honda changing anything after 1 year. Maybe 2 years.

The RL will be AWD for 2005. The TL cannot be too far behind. That will complete the circle very nicely. Probably 2006 for the AWD TL.

Yeah you are right, it was the 98, 99 and 00 that had the original back lights, and the 2001 they changed along with the 6 CD changer for the EXV6.
