2005 cars need advice

My g/f is looking for a new sedan 05 car.

THe choices so far are:

2005 TL
2005 Nissan Maxima
2005 NIssan Altima
2005 IS300 (any changes for the 05?)
2005 Honda Accord

I cant think of any more but price range is max 33k

She wants a roomy car... well more room than a 2000 corolla If you can give me some feedback if you guys have driven any of these cars or have experienced these cars and would like to share your thoughts. I greatly appreciate it.

I do not think IS300 is that roomy. Another roomy 4 dr sedan to consider is Toyota Camry. My friend just got a 2005 4 cyl - I was surprised how big the interior is. The 4 cyl was quiet and fairly good power.

I agree, IS300 not roomy, I would personally go with the Accord or TL depending on the amount of money you are looking to spend.

I would also look at the Infiniti G35 (non coupe) if you haven't already, and eliminated it. I dont know what MSRP on the 05 will be though.

I would bet most people here are going to lean towards the TL, but the reasons I would get it is not only does it have beautiful styling and superb interior, it has excellent ratings and reviews. a win win in my book. But I realize its not meant for everyone and everyone has different tastes. I think the only thing that is going to get you a honest answer is chair time.

The Maxima drove very well, but overall quality & features made it less of a deal than the TL. I drove an earlier model of the Altima & found that I liked the Accord better. The current Camry drives much more like an American car than earlier versions. The IS 300 is new, but seems small, about Corolla-sized.

I think that the Accord is the best of these cars other than the TL. You can get a TL for 33K, but unless you really want a TL, I would go for an Accord with the engine & features that fit her needs the best.

I'd say the Honda or Acura.
But honestly, why isn't the TSX on your list? Cheaper than a TL, tons of features, a little less room but certainly more than an IS300. Likewise, you might could work a very good deal on an '04 TL or even better, an '04 Infiniti (if you like the rwd and more power albeit less refinement)...

Please elaborate on this comment. The TL has bluetooth.

the Maxima has power, HEATED tilt/telescoping wheel, power folding side-view mirrors, heated rear seats, rear power sunshade, choice of Sirius or XM. Shorter b2b warranty, but longer powertrain warranty. The Maxima also offers 18" wheels as a factory installed option. Lastly, this is personal preference, but the Maxima has cornering lamps. I love those things.

PS - I like the styling of the TL more than that of the Maxima.
