2005 Acura TL

I just changed my oil and noticed my transmission fluid is leaking. I had to pour in 1/3 of a quart to get it to the second hole fill mark on the transmission dip stick.

I noticed there are a lot of hairline cracks on the transmission from underneath the vehicle?

My car has 210,000 miles. What could be causing the leak?

Thanks.

I have what what looks like cracks on my trannycase upon removal, but under closer inspection are casting marks. Put your fingers over the lines and see if it’s raised/rough.

Sure theres a leak? When was last time you checked the level? Are the racks leaking the fluid?

Yes its leaking, there is fluid mixed with road grime on the bottom of the tranny case.

What would be the most common place for the tranny fluid to leak from?

the cheap option, continue to add transmission fl. as needed; my tranny went bad months later.
