I was on 35MPH uphil and I saw a bmw 7 accelerating with loud engine sound.

I was about 30MPH at 4th gear and I immediately shfted down to 2nd using SS and floored. I had 2 passenger on board ( mom and dad , i know. i know) and as soon as I passed him, I upshifted.

After couple of seconds this guy is still accelearating hard. So I do the same thing 2nd and floored. I started pulling on him by 1/5 of car length per second despite he was only occupant in that ride.

This is few month back, I was on highway in mountain and a S430 tried to pass me on up hill. I floored at 2nd and was able to get ahead of him.

Good Kills on both cars. Only thing is don't try to do that to the 2002+ 7-series they pull hard and quick 0-60mph of around 5.9 and those are the 745 and don't even bother with the 760's

740 was previous generation. I think they got rid of 740 somepoint in 200x. now they only have 745 and up.

I would be even interested in match with 745 though in acceleration. I thought those ones would be heavy. Of course I'm no match against 750 and 760 series.

There is not much you can do against a 745. While MT will give a 745 a good run for their money, AT has no chance whatsoever. I raced my friend's 745 three times from both roll and and stop (with my previous 2005 TL MT) and got smoked every time.

I meant "acceleration" game without shifting. Just like merging on ramp.

Nothing, they are used to my driving. LOL I am about half foot taller than dad.

great kill. the 740i isn't that fast. the 740iL sport is fast and would probably beat you especially on the highway. those V8's are beasts. with a good launch you might take one from 0-60.

I had encounter with prev gen 740i on highway ramp. I was able to get ahead of him. in 2nd gear SS. (yeah that's all I can use cuz if Im going into 3rd gear, that means 70MPH+, most likely illegal)
