2004 TL - TS decklid or regular lid?

I just purchased the A-Spec kit from Stephen at John Eagle Acura. Very smooth process!

My question is this... Should I go with the regular deck lid spoiler or the S lid spoiler. As you all know the S spoiler is wider and requires a different mounting process. But the question is which one will look better on my WDP?

Thanks!

How much does John want for the S lid spoiler? You should get that one if it fits. The regular one is barely there.

The type S spoiler is $217 The regular is $262.

I bought them both. Stephen from John Eagle will let me take back the one I decide not to go with.

I can't find any Type-S deck lid installation instructions on this board. Has anyone done it?

Never mind...I found the install thread. Now the question is all tape...or tape and bolts???? I'm thinking of going the bolt/drill free route.

I have the type s spoiler on mine I cant complain....looks dope.... its longer than the regular one... i had it painted when it came though when they sent it, delray F**ked me they sent it to me with no screws and it was all scratched and had one paint chip on the side so it gave me more of a reason to get it painted.

I think that the deck lid spoiler is a much cleaner look than the wing spoiler. I think that as our TLs are more of a sports/luxury car than a all out sports car that our cars look better with the deck lid. That wing is a joke, I think it makes the TL look a little silly. Think about the cars that look good with the wing spoiler - none of them are 4 doors. The wing spoiler is a coupe thing and the deck lid is a 4 door thing. Even some coupes dont look good with a wings, e.g. any BMW. The deck lid is a subtle sporty touch. Oh and dont forget that our FWD cars have no to reason to have a spoiler other than looks.

FWIW, I'd vote for no spoiler at all. I prefer a cleaner look.

I'm not even considering going with the wing. At this point I want to know if I should mount the TL-S \decklid spoiler with tape onle (or use 2 bolts and tape)?
