My dealer serviced my TL this week under the recent transmission TSB. It was no big deal; waited about 1 1/2 hours for the oil jet installation and away I went. Frankly can't tell that there was any problem to begin with and don't expect any.

 

I was nervous about its inspection procedure... before 15k, they could simply install the oil jet kit... after 15k, they have to take off the top of the tranny and do some photo comparison... then decide either give you another tranny (remanufactured) or have the oil jet kit installed.

 

I'd love to hear who gets a new tranny...
