Personally, I think the car is awesome. I semi-regret not getting the NAV, but it was just a little too much for my wallet...and I will survive without it. I DO wish Verizon would get their ass in gear and come out with a BT/HFL phone!!
But I am having a great time cruising in my TL...without a doubt, I made the right choice for a long-term vehicle!
I guess we can all go out and buy the www.acura-tl-com sticker and put them on our TLs. That may bring in a few more

Gotta be AWESOME baby! Despite a lot of the minor annoyances, the TL is still a pleasure to drive. I love the sound system, the interior and the overall design of the vehicle. Roll up the windows and make the world go away.........

excellent...only because "awesome" as the top end must include cars such as BMW M5, 996 TT, 996 GT2, etc.

I voted "excellent" just because I have only had it for about a week.

After having driven one, I would rate it Very Good! Quite surprised how good a package Acura put together in this car. The styling of the car could take some time to get use to. The interior is beautiful! Performance is average compared to majority of the cars out there, but I drove the TL not expecting neck breaking speed so I was pleasently surprised. White ones with the Body Kits and 18s just look very nice!

SergeM I agree with you...some people have different priorities, etc.

The M3, I have no idea how it comes up in discussions with the TL, not even close in comparisons...but then this is a TL forum. But hey at least I don't hear about "I smoked a F16 Jet" type stories I see on the CL forum...

Rate the '04 TL

After reading all of the negative comments from people who must have thought the '04 TL was "awsome" at some point (They put out the $$, right?) Who would buy a car that wasn't "awsome? I have to go with "awsome" because my '04 meets each and every expectation - my family & friends love it and so do I!!

HOW CAN YOU NOT LIKE THIS CAR!!!!.. I mean for the $$$, the gadgets and Honda reliability.. its a way better all around value than a 330i, IS3K, A4, G35 etc.. granted it doesnt have AWD but I bet it will in '07 and for what it has now.. it will still be worth 23K by then..
Gotta love the ACK!

How so? The TL hits 1/4 in mid 14's right? Well there are sooooooo many cars doing that these days...I guess I should have clarified the statement to reflect that. Make no mistake, the TL is NOT a Ferrari in terms of speed. I think the TL is the best car Acura offers today...(not sure if the NSX is still being sold). I know I will probably hear stuff like "it's faster than ES300/330" but considering the TL is in the G35, Maxima, BMW 3 series class, I don't see how performance would be above average...care to comment?
