Are you serious. Of course, buckets.

The displacement is still 3.2.

Is that right that the release date is 10/06? I have never seen the official release date yet. The only reason I'm wondering is because I test drove a 2003 TL-S today, and the dealer said they're selling out all the remaining 11 cars off the lot in a couple of days, to make room for the 2004 models. It was highly suspicious to me that he was bluffing. He told me today would be pretty much the last day I could buy a 2003 model, because in a couple of days they won't have anything anymore. I'm positive that the dealer was bluffing, and just wanted to sell me something on the spot. It can't be that for the next couple of weeks they're not going to sell TLs at all. It can't be that they're not ordering any more 2003 models, when the 2004 release date is almost a month away.

yes, the 10/6 release date is correct. I don't believe your dealer is bluffing about the status of the 2003s. Those could very well be the last he will be getting on his lot.

The '04 TL's release is only a couple of weeks away. I'm sure you're dealer will be getting a demo or two or three, so his story can't be that far-fetched.

Can anyone explain why Honda chose SOHC, everyone seems to thing DOHC is far superior. I know nothing in this matter

Great question. I think all of my cars since 1991 were DOHC until I went to Honda.

I believe for the most part, the Acura line of vehicles pretty much stay on the SOHC for the V6s. Such as the C-series blocks in the Legends, RL, etc. Another exception of course, the 3.2L C block NSX engine, which is DOHC.

Not sure why they do this, is the Honda Accord V6 a DOHC?

I talked with my dealer and he confirmed the 10-6 date as well. Said they were coming on on the 1st or 2nd but they couldn't sell them (i.e. paper work) until the 6th. 3 weeks left.

I bought a left over 2003 TL-P and they had trouble getting the color I wanted. Only colors left in numbers is silver, white and black. Most dealers are selling for invoice less $1,500. they should go quickly.

Maxima has DOHC
supposed to be better, stronger, more powerful (soemthing like that)
Nissan/ Infiniti are the Kings of V6.
Just like Honda kept a 4 in the TSX, a mistake in my opinion
they don't seem to get the engines preferred by customers

The Nissan V6 has been second to none for 20 years. I'd love to have that torque.
