2004 TL with 2007 TL Tail Lights??!

Hi, I just busted by driver-side tail light (and scruffed up the bumper a bit) after backing my '04 TL into a parking structure pole!

Before I take it into the body shop, I was wondering if the new look '07 TL tail lights can be installed on my '04 TL?! Has anyone tried this?

Thanks for the responses! I'd have loved to join the combo group buy but, I need to get the car turned around ASAP to avoid running into work commute issues. I might go in for the mixed look - '07 TypeS tail lights with my existing '04 red side markers; that'll set me apart, eh?!
