2004 price paid

People are putting down deposits based on a car that doesn't have a price. I hope no one is paying MSRP...please let me know what deals you are making.....prehaps $500 over invoice?

I actually just got off the phone with my Acura dealership, and I'm really thinking about pre-ordering one. But we decided not to do anything until they have the exact pricing guide, and what not. My license plate on my 99 TL says "SSM TL" hence its silver, so heres what I want on my 04.

-Satin Silver Metallic, to go along with my current plate (Am thinking of that gorgeous ABP color too if its available)
-Black Leather
-Tinted Windows
-OEM Kit, depending on how it looks
-Navi - if it doesn't come standard
-Rear Spoiler
-Woodgrain Steering Wheel

I'm excited, although I may save up a little bit and then buy it in November or December as an x-mas present to myself. I'm just so excited about this whole thing!!!!

I'm 100% sure MSRP or $500 under MSRP is all you can do for new TL for the first 3 months. (unless you have relation with dealership)

$500 over invoice for a brand new model with deposits on it?

Dream on

The only thing u can do while making a deposit is have the dealer in writing say that you wont be charged over MSRP, because there will be people that will be willing to pay over MSRP to buy the car first..

I would never pay over MSRP or MSRP for anything.

Even when I got my 99, I got a $700 discount, because I bought through the dealer's web service.

I can tell you that in the Northeast there are no dealerships that i have found that will do anything below MSRP between now and Christmas. If anyone finds one let me know. I know it took about 6-8 months before the dealerships locally were discounting the G35 coupe which was in great demand like I think the 2004 TL will be (IMO).

Try going through their internet buying programs and see if you can get a discount that way.

When I picked up my 03 TL-S, a family from New Jersey had flown to Charlotte to pick up an MDX and drive back North. It was cheaper for to pay for four airline tickets, expenses for the trip back than to buy it in the North East. Try other dealers in other "lower price" areas for better deals.

In Hawaii, there is only 1 Acura dealer in the whole state. I guarantee that TL's will be going for at least MSRP for months after launch.
