I've searched and not found this (sorry), but is there a link to a listing of all the required maintenance for the 2004 TL somewhere? I need to set up a ListPro list for the car, and don't want to just wait until my MID tells me I need service.

You know, the normal list, usually published in the owner's manual, which gives you an idea of time and mileage for recommended service?

You can find the list on pg 199 of the 2004 owners manual. The maintenance intervals are based on the MID so it won't show specific mileage for these items unless otherwise listed. As for oil changes, use common sense .... if you're the type to get your oil changed every 3K, do it or you can follow the MID.

What I was actually hoping for was if someone had found the listing of triggers Acura uses for the MID. It surely must be merely mileage and time, wouldn't you suppose? I would prefer to have these maintenance items scheduled out (as you rightly guessed, I am rather a 3k mile sort of person) rather than waiting for the MID to light up.

Or, barring that, have people compared time and mileage indications on the MID, to see if they are all consistent? Perhaps we can develop our own list.
