2003 Acura TL-S vs. 2006 Chevy Cobalt SS
The other night me and my friend were getting ready to go wash our cars at the car wash down the road. I dropped him off at his house so he could hop in his, and meet me there. i left about 2 minutes before he did. As i was driving down the street I see him come up and fly past me. He slowed wasy down, and wanted to wait for a light. I pulled up next to him at the next light, and talked to him and he didnt want to do it from a dig because he just got his car, and he stillw asnt to familiar with the 5 speed. So we were going to do it from about 40, but he wanted to do it a little under 35, so he could get the ebst pull. I was fine with that so we were at a roll at about 35 and after 3 honks took off!
We both had it in second, and i had him off the honk by about half a car length after he shifted into third he caught me and was right next to me. We stayed with eachother all the way up to about 120 and after that i had aboutn half a car length on him before slowing down. I thought for sure he was going to dust me with his 4 banger supercharger

Honestly, my 2000 Acura TL with I/E kept up with one on the highway until I hit 4th gear. I'm sure he was a rookie driver though.
Like AtlM5 said, I thought you'd pull a little on him. Either way, nice run.

I expect his intake charge & motor were heating up. Supercharged & Turbo cars really need excellent cooling to do back to back runs like that which many stock cars don’t have.

u did good...i used to have a 2003 TL-S with comptech intake only at the time...
almost same result...first gear he beat me by a whole car until 2nd gear...2nd gear i came back and had half a car on him by the end of 2nd...3rd gear was basically the whole half a car the whole time till we release at 110.

supercharged cobalts are slow, i ate my buddies with my intake only rsx-s all day and he was bolted.
remember that car makes 200 hp sc'd, not 200hp + sc. and its heavy. You also raced him were his felt his car would peform best. if you raced were yours was in powerband you would have walked in 2 cars in my opinion
