I tried a search but couldn't find anything on this.

has anyone else noticed that their WLED-W4 (dome lights) seem to be different shades?? I got two WLED-W4 lights for the dome lights in the TL and one seems to be much more blue than the other!?!? has anyone else noticed this??

i mean i can deal with it but i would like to have a uniform look for the dome lights and right now one is way more blue than the other.

should I return them?

well there have been issues with LED's having different color/tones to them...for example, if u bought all your led's from the same guy, there are very good chances that some will be different colors/tones than the other ones...

u should complain to the source where you got these LED's and they should be able to refund u the amount or send you out new LED's...

i got them from superbrightleds.com since so many other ppl ordered from them i was hoping someone else had encountered this problem, so I could see how they handled it. i also purchased (2)WLED-W6 in blue for the doors which seem to match up perfectly.

maybe it's normal to have the same bulbs have such different tones to them. I must say the WLED-W4's in white are really quite blue looking. more than I expected, which is nice. but one of them is just WAY TOO blue!!

anyone?? cmon... i can't be the only one with this?? my gf says one looks purple and the other is like a light blue... wtf?

I noticed it when I was installing them, but turns out it's the angle that you view the LEDs from.

Don’t worry your not the only one with this problem. I ordered 6 from superbrightleds and 2 of them were completely different colors, so they are now my licence plate bulbs!

My blue 6's from superbrightleds work and look great. Depending on the angle you view them, you might think that one is brighter than the other. I think it's mostly due to the fact that the leds don't spread the light around as much as a conventional bulb. The leds tend to be more directional.

Has anyone tried to replace their visor lights? I want to put some white led 6's in those two, but I want to find out how to take off the cover to access the bulbs.

thanks for the replies everyone. one of my dome lights is definately a different color than the other!! my gf says that one of the WLED-W4 white bulbs looks purple. and it does. the other is a nice white/blue hue.

oh well.. i think i'm going to get a couple more bulbs for the rear dome lights, so if they match up better, I will put the purple looking one in the back
