Smile 1st Post...Seen Fog Light Post but not what I'm looking for.

I have a 2004 Acura TL w/Nav; I have bought the 2007-2008 OEM Fog Light, Grille assembly (with the metal strip) off of Craigslist for $60. I have seen articles on here talking about adding Accord Fog Lights & Aftermarket fog lights but is there an article that goes over adding the later model fog lights to the 2004 model? Very much appreciated... Sorry if I missed the article in question.

I know the 2004 has integrated fog lights in the headlights, I like the styling of the newer fog lights. It was cheap buy so I couldn't pass it up.

I don't think the cut outs on the bottom of the front bumpers are the same for 2004-2006 and 2007-2008, but i could be wrong.

Based on initial inspection they seem to be the same width, mounting exactly the same....probably not. I imagine the OEM fog light mounting bracket does not exist.

Acura Parts @ AcuraOEMparts.com - Genuine Acura OEM Parts from Delray Acura

I helped a friend order the kit a few months ago because he got into an accident and wanted to upgrade to a 2008 front.

If I remember correctly we ordered parts #9, 6, 3, 7, 11 for the bumper and the fog lights (on a different diagram) then when the body shop was putting it together they spliced into the fog lights in the headlight housing.

So if you have those parts, I don't see why it wouldn't fit if the bumper cutouts are the same.

07-08 TL foglights will not fit the base bumper of the 04-06. Its design differently and the cowls/plastic brackets behind the grill are different too.

i think there would be a lot of cutting, too much for my liking to make it work.

There would be a lot of cutting, to the point where it won't look professional, unless you spend time and lots of bondo. At that point you'll realize getting a 07/08 bumper is better.
