I had my car in the shop at Fountain Acura to be worked on. I own a WDP TL. Problems I am having are paint issues on the rear bumper and distorted subwoofer. The edge where the bumper meets the acura in between the crevaces I could see black. This is where they didn't paint the bumper good enough. When I washed my car and began drying it off. I was wiping it down with 100% cotton towels and began to notice paint was rubbing off. I could see pink lines in my paint on the top of the rear bumper. When I saw that I was like, "WTF is this?" :'( I work full time M-F 9-6:00 PM. So its hard to take off and drive 25-30 mins to this dealership because when I get off the service dept is closed.
I did get a day off drove to the dealership and spoke to the service mgr who determines if these are warranty covered issues. As I was showing her the car I pointed out to her the paint issue and specifically told the bumper should be repainted. Then I let her listen to the distortion I hear in the subwoofer. She said she couldnt hear what I was hearing, I said to myself, that, "you have to be kidding me." Its obvious, but she starts to say that I know more about these things than her. She then tells me she would take care of it. I said kool.
I also told her I want the underbody kit. I sit with her she gives me the total on the kit and labor. Has be sign a paper for the loaner car she is about to give me. This was on a Tuesday. She said this job should take until Thursday to complete the latest a Friday. I was like ok thats np. Friday rolls around she said that she was low on technicians and apoligize that they couldnt get to my car but she promised me Monday. I said np I can wait. Monday rolls around and guess what, yep she said they just took care of my bumper and its like 5:00 pm. She said dont worry keep the loaner until Tuesday she starting saying my car will be cleaned ,buffed, and taken care of. So she gives me the notion that they are trying to take care of me.
So when I expect to get my car , the car would be in great condition paint and sub taken care of. She said that I can come tomorrow and trade cars and that shouldnt wouldnt be there, but it wont be a problem. I was ok with that. Tuesday rolls around and I pick up the car excited . Kit looks awesome. I check to see if they painted the bumper and they didnt do it. They just feathered the crack between the bumper. I'm like this is cheap. They haD my car for 7 dam days. I get in my car drive off, poped in my CD to listen out for my brand new subwoofer. Its not playing. So I go into the audio options and find out the subwoofer was turned off. I was like this is strange and that you would think the technicians would have kept it on to listen to how it plays but no it was off. So I turn the power on the sub up to full power and have the volume on 15 I start hearing distortion. I said NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
.Mad, disappointed. I called her she wasnt in her office left a voicemail, so I should hear from her tomorrow. Wish me luck guys
