16 inch wheel question

Hi everyone, I'm new to this site and was recommended here from www.Honda-Central.com. I have a question regarding the brakes from the 2004 TL.

I need to know if 16 inch wheels will fit over the brakes on the 6 speed without clearance issues. And if there are any clearance issues, are they minor issues that could be resolved with a grinder, or are they major issues that will require moving up to a 17 inch wheel.

I own a 2001 Integra Type R and am considering a Brake conversion from the 2004 TL. The brake swap itself is a bolt up affair as the mounting is identical between the two. I don't want to have to use a 17 inch wheel as I frequently autocross and want the better drive ratio and the weight advantage of the 16's. Thanks in advance.

I know you probably don't want to hear this, but there is no way a 16" wheel will fit with those brakes. In fact, most 17" don't fit due to clearance issues.

Sorry, your going to need 17" wheels (at minimum) and only certain ones will work. What is the Brembo kit going to run you and where did you get it from? If you end up deciding not to use it, private message me as I may be interested in buying it form you.

Thanks. I guess I'll be searching for an alternate braking solution.
