![Question](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/icons/icon5.gif)
I am looking to get a pair of these and was wondering if they would cause any problems in my stock TL-S? Input would be nice and yes I know they arent going to be as bright as say 6000k or 8000k I just want them for the color aspect. Thanks

They are NOT going to be as bright as you think. The best visible light output is between 4100K - 5000K. Once you go out of that range you start losing visibility. Yes, 15000k 35Watts bulbs will work, and they will produce the same 35Watts, but it will be outside of the optimum visible color range. Stay with 5000k or below for the best performance.

You can go ahead and get these bulbs, but the look may be worth more than the trouble. The max to go with is about 8K bulbs and then again some members have gotten tickets for it. Also I should add that you should get yourself a flame suit and many people will start calling you a ricer for putting that on a TL-S...

Don't do it...that Temperature should only be for show cars....can be dangerous at night.
If I see you driving around Indy with 15000K, I will flash my brights at you ! ! ! HAHAHAHA JK

Agreed. Even though I think it's ugly, it wouldn't bother me too much. However, you will produce a ton of glare for other drivers coming head on and good luck in the rain. The reasoning on these things are insane. Let's cut the light output in half so they can be purple. Makes no sense.
