1000 Posts Complete Review

First off, I wanted to start off by complimenting this wonderful site for all the useful information that it provides. Without the informative members and moderators, it wouldn’t exist. I couldn't find a better car (for any brand) then this very one.

Anyways, I purchased my 2004 NBP/Ebony Acura TL Nav/A-Spec back on 5/06/04. I currently have 6100 miles on it. The miles are so low because I have a temporarily suspended license in which I don’t really want to get into right now. My first impression of the car when I first drove it off the lot was wow. I couldn't believe that I just bought such an amazing car. Especially at my age to be able to afford it makes me feel great.

The night I received it, I wasn't able to sleep at all. I was so anxious to drive it again. This was the story for at least 3 days. You know the car is filled with gadgets if you are discovering new things months after purchase. To this day I love riding in the car. It feels great. As some of you may recall I had a slight issue about a month or two ago with some type of noise coming from underneath the car. That seemed to have just gone away, I may ask the dealer about it on my next visit but it doesn't seem to be anything.

Though my young age, I have driven several different types of vehicles, my bosses BMW 330, My Dads GS, my old Eclipse, and many more. The feel of my Acura ,IMHO, surpasses all of them. The ride is sooo smooth and feels like I am in complete control. I wish some of you can see some of the people’s faces when I start talking to my car or an incoming call through HFL. People’s reaction to this car is great. Especially if you keep it clean, the car just stands out. It turns heads with no problem.

Regarding rattles and other issues I have had none. I remember once hearing a rattle from my passenger side of the car but that seems to have gone away. The car feels like it's put together very well. I feel bad for the ones on this site who are reporting problem after problem. I do however have a minor case of the butt prints but doesn't really bother me all that much. I keep treating my leather with Lexol and it seems to be working great. The sitting feels so comfortable with that very soft leather.

All in all, I have never been happier with this purchase. Acura really hit the market hard with the new TL. The competition has a lot to learn from this car. Anyone who is considering purchasing this car, I would say don't hesitate. Go For It !! Also just wanted everyone to know that I have some aftermarket work done to the car. I know have 2 Memphis M3’s with a Memphis 1500 watt amp all custom. Also have mood lights all inside the car, as well as tints for now. I already ordered my rims but won’t put them on until summer. Would appreciate some points if you guys get a second.

Points for you...

You absolutely made our forum into the new era. Most of ppl have written the review after reaching the certain mileage or days. And, many of members have requested the celebration for their 1k or any milestone post-count. You put them together and this interesting review consists in its relevance. Cool.

I wish you a very happy and healthy New Year.

Yeah, mine's coming up soon to 6 months and currently it has about 9300 miles on it. I take the long way into work for two reasons. I don't wish to put my car in danger on route 66 any long than needed (stones thrown against the windshield and paint), and I get to drive it another 20 minutes before arriving to work. I still get anxious at the end of the day to leave and drive it home, too. On days when I drive my truck, it's like withdrawal.

Just a fun car with lots of cool things going for it.

Nice review. Too bad you can't drive it! Review it again when you have 10k miles.
