'08 Type S New Clutch and Flywheel

Just had my new clutch and flywheel installed today and had a few questions about the clutch pedal engagement. Before on my original clutch with 115K miles on it the clutch pedal engagement point was almost at the very top of the pedal. Now with the new clutch and flywheel the clutch pedal engagement is about half way up before the clutch engages which seems different to me. Can anyone chime in and let me know that its suppose to be that way. Car has so much more power to the wheels now!!! Just need assurance that the engagement point is fine.

there are so many different variables.
the clutch could be grabbing at a different hieght due to new and thick material.
could be installed wrong.
could be adjusted differntly
etc.

maybe you just need to get acclimated to it.

or if you really think something is wrong, take it back to the installer.

again, maybe due to the thickness of the new pressure plate and flywheel it grabs differently.

all cars are different. My '06 6MT engagement point feels a lot different than my friends '05 6MT.
