08 TLS NBP Tint suggestions

I bought a NBP TLS a month ago. Save the rattles, the car is awesome so far through 4k miles.

I was out driving with my daughter on Saturday and the sun was kickin her butt. I am thinking about getting some tint; however there are some important variables:

*I live in Upstate NY. IDK what the tint law is, but I know they harass you for breaking it.
*I drive 45k miles per year for work. I can’t afford to be pulled over--ever.
*I think that it looks like shit when the front doesn’t match the back.
*I understand why tint laws are in place and want to respect them

So the question is: Does a tint exist that I can put all around, will serve its purpose(sun, plus my interior is ebony silver which is going to get really hot in July) without me getting pulled over... ?

Any help will be appreciated. I think the car looks great without tint actually as a business professional, just thinking of my kids here.

If you guys cant help me I’m gonna have to go buy some of those stick on the window things.

We all know how those look...

(I am still bitter that the TL doesn’t have the pull down sun shades like the RL)

I would recommend 3M Prestige 40 or 50. It rejects heat even better than Huper Optik ceramic (which I saw in a side by side comparison) and the film is not dark at all so no getting pulled over. JamesTint.com located in Middletown NY. If you tell him Raja w/ the Infiniti &TL sent you, he'll hook you up.

50% would be the best considering that the law in NY is 70% and 70% is the way that the car is factory.

I'm with ^ him...50% all around is a safe bet but 35% on the rear windshield would help keept the car cooler.

NY Law allows 70% on all the side windows and any % on the rear windshield
