I have a weird condition where my car has trouble starting only after I fill up the gas tank. I turn the key & it tries to start but won't unless I give it gas. Even then it wants to die unless I keep giving it gas for at least 30 seconds. Any ideas what might cause this? I only use premium gas & it only happens after filling up my tank.

My CEL is on with codes P1454 Evap FTP sensor, P145C vapor canister, P0496 Evap high purge flow, P0172, P0175 System too rich Bank 1 & Bank 2

Might I suggest fixing those CEL's first?

The fact that P1454 is for problematic fuel tank pressure mighttttt have something to do with it.

Saw the title and immediately thought it was an EVAP purge valve stuck open. Then I saw you have multiple EVAP related CEL codes… You definitely have EVAP system issues, get those CEL codes fixed.

Ok thanks. I have no idea what an FTP sensor is. I've changed out the purge valve a few times but they keep going bad after a few hundred miles. Haven't tried OEM though since money is tight at the moment
