Unhappy Help: my tl failed to start

Hello fellow TLers!

Today my TL failed to start, I turned the key to start it and it started for a bit and shut off, it happend a few times then I decided to give a little gas and then it started.

The only possible reason I think it might of failed to start was because I was out of town today and I filled the car with some cheap gas i think it was regular gas (it was the only gas station insight) I usually always put 94 octane in my car.... do you think the gas affected the failure to start, or is it something else???

thank you

It's either the gas or dirty fuel injectors.

Did you not gas up the tank full? It happened to me once in a very cold day after I gas the car half full. Moisture can get inside the gas tank if it is not filled to full especially in cold days.

amen to that one, another thing i've noticed is that, if you don't turn the key the whole way. its weird. you know how you turn your key to "on" then to "start" you hold it at start for a certain period of time before it starts, it has to turn over so many times before it starts. well if you shorten that time, say just move it from on to start real quick, the engine will turn over a little bit, it will get kind of a half-a$$ start, it will shudder a bit but it should straigten itself out pretty quick
